Tom Thumb - Theft Stickers on My Food
Everytime I check out, the cashier tries to put "Thank You" stickers on anything they don't put in a bag. The stickers are to inform management I didn't steal the food. But there is no management. No one at the door like CostCo or Sam's. It's a pointless act and everytime I look at my food at home I'm reminded how Tom Thumb doesn't trust their shoppers.
Today, I had a very stern cashier who insisted. I informed her I was the customer and I did not want her to mark up my food with anti-theft stickers, yet she insisted. I pointed out I had my receipt and if anyone thought I was shoplifting, then they can ask for my receipt. I sure the poor gal thought I was a loon, but I go out with no theft stickers.
Just for fun, on my way out, I did see a management type, so I stopped right in front of him to give him a good long look while I pretended to fiddle with my phone. Guess what? He never even glance at the unbagged, non-stickered item in my cart!
Tom Thumb: Stop treating you customers like thieves and stop demanding your cashiers put "Thank You" anti-theft stickers on our food!! We don't want to be reminded at home you think we're shoplifters every time we see you stupid stickers!!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
