Poor everything

Hold times on a complaint line should not be over 20 minutes. Stores should know how to order supplies of food. You suck. I’m going to WalMart.

Bathroom - Fort Worth/Hulen location

The bathroom is disgusting. There are boogers wiped all over the stalls and fecal matter smeared on other seats. The floors are disgusting. I’ve seen *** gas stations with better bathrooms. Shame on the management at this location.

Rude Employee

This store is located in Lebanon and 423 . This is the second time I have experienced employees rude behavior.

Don’t understand how they get hired! I needed help on self check service but employee name Patctricia was very rude and literally refused to help me. I asked for her name, when she did not reply and turned back after she hard me asking , she said it’s written in here . Pointed her shirt!

I winder how this company can recruit theses kind of idiots.

Has no training how to treat customers. I placed a complaint to the store manager. Hope he can take care of her. He said “ mostly I hear compliments about her”!

Well , too bad today you hard me right. She is very rude uneducated trash .

Treated like a criminal

Upon entering store 8698 Skillman St dallas, I was stopped by security allen simmons stating that i must leave my backpack with him. With customers behind me,I was shocked and embarrased. He stated that 2 guys came into store and cleared the shelves of product into their backpacks. He stated that it was the stores new policy on guys with backpacks(not women with large purses). After daily run i was exhausted to argue. Allen pointed that I place my bag on floor next to trash can and door. I refused and he stated that i could place it on store weekly ads stand. Allen failed to provide a check in and claim procedure due to it being companies new policy. After shopping I went to retrieve my bag Allen the greeter/security didnt offer a thank you for inconvenience nor have a great day. I attempted to share my experience with him when Allen became irate and loud again and stated to get out of his face and if I have something to say,to go to customer service. I went to CS where the attendant called for a manager. After explaining my experience the manager seemed dismissive with no regards. He stated he would talk to Allen. I have shopped several other Tom Thumb and no one has asked me to turn in my bag. 2 other customers shared that this behavior was unacceptable and embarrasing. They offered to speak with manager also on my behalf. I shared I would contact Corporate. They gave me their contact info if needed. Racial Profiling

I am an educated black female that's been married 34 years, and I've shopped at Tom Thumb for the same amount of years. I went to the store to pick up a few things for my son's birthday.

I selected 2 gift cards and a few food items. I noticed that when I was checking out, the manager came over to to register and spoke to me while eyeing my purchases. Once the cashier rung up one card for $50 , and the other card for $75, he then proceeded to walk away. Pretty slick, but I'm not stupid, just tired.

This has also happened with another Tom Thumb where the security guard started talking to me about shop lifters. I have never shop lifted in my life. I work on a 40 plus hour a week job. I have put two boys through college and they both graduated.

What is going on with your stores? I've spent thousands in your stores only to be treated like a thief.

You guys need to try something else other than profiling people. Invest in a surveillance system where you won't end up insulting the customers or making them uncomfortable.

Terrible

Tom Thumb needs to fix their system for home deliveries ASAP. Kroger is ahead and so is Walmart. I cannot login without getting an error. I called the 800 number and received a recording advising their call volume was very high due to technical issues.The recording advised to clear all cookies and restart my laptop. I did as they suggested and I not only lost all my passwords, but it fixed absolutely nothing. Tom Thumb has more money than Walmart and Kroger together. They cannot afford to hire cheap IT staff to hold back Customers from purchasing from their stores. What a WASTE OF TIME. I will continue to order from Kroger. Really bad experience and I didn't even get to use their services because I COULDN'T!

Tom Thumb #2649, Greenville and Lovers Lane store. I've been a customer since they moved from the spot next door, which is now an LA Fitness, to their current location. Management administrations have come and gone, this one by far is the worse. I shop regularly, just about every day and I'm usually in the store for no less than an hour a visit. Most all the employees know me by name, I'm in there shopping at all hours or shifts and what I have observed concerning the management staff has made me downright angry. The store manager or director comes off as accommodating to the customer, but in reality, he walks around as if he is God himself. He is arrogant, rude and intimidates certain employees. I had an issue that an employee was helping me with and this man, the store manager lashed out at the employee, threaten his job and humiliated this young man in front of me and dozens of other people. I tried to explain that to him the young man was doing his job and I was satisfied with his assistance, but the manager tried to rationalize his action and stated the employee was neglecting his duties elsewhere backing up his station. What a ***! On a separate occasion, I brought to his attention an issue concerning his grocery manager named Juan. This guy does absolutely nothing, must of the time he is busy talking to the young ladies working in Starbuck, on his phone or hiding in the back of the store. The store manager defends this guy knowing he is useless. Last but not least, everytime I'm in the store, and again, I'm in there just about every day, the entourage (managers) are usually sitting down in Starbucks, or they are nowhere to be found when you need them. And if you have them paged, you will have to wait awhile before they respond -- What a joke. This goes on all the time -- Have I filed a complaint? Yes. Have I received a response? No. Does company look into matters like this? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong, I have had some very good experiences in this store, but since this store manager arrived, things seem to be going downhill inspite what it looks like. Management sucks.

i HAVE PURCHASED THIS ITEM BEFORE AND USUALLY GREAT. THIS TIME MEAT WAS SWITCHED FROM LESSOR QUALITY BEEF AND SOLD AS SIRLOIN.

MY PAN WAS FULL OF FAT!! GROSS!! COULDN'T EAT IT.

I TOOL PHOTOS IF ANYONE NEEDS TO SEE TO BELIEVE. REALLY ICKY.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. AND NOW DON'T TRUST THE MEAT FROM TOM THUMB. WILL GO ELSEWHERE NOW.

EXPIRATION DATE WAS HAND WRITTEN ON LABEL. THIS IS NOT A TOM THUMB BEEF AND IS CLEARLY MARKED GROUND SIRLOIN. IT CAME IN 2 LARGE PATTIES. I WOULD AVOID PURCHASING THIS AT ANY TOMTHUMB STORE. NOT SURE WHAT ELSE I NEED TO SAY. I DO FEEL SICK AT EATING HALF OF A PATTY. IT WAS NOT SPOILED JUST QUALITY OF MEAT WAS NOT THE TRUTH.

Meadow Central Location - Dallas Texas This is a terrible store for so many reasons This is just another problem - - - Bought Nellies Key Lime Juice 2-7-18. Made entire pie, then with bad taste.

Date on bottle was 7-20-17 !! 6-MONTHS OUT OF DATE. Got entire cost of products for pie refunded. Another unnecessary cost to the store.

Around 1-8-18 saw a roach roaming inside the baked goods case. Took picture, sent to Kathy Fields to send to dist mgr.

and get this taken care of. ***See attached picture of roach in baked goods*** Also always see ice cream freezers which are overrun with ice on inside and on ice cream.

Ridiculous

I got $15 worth of gas.... but I have a pending charge of $150! Why would you ever need to put $150 on hold???? ITS MY MONEY AND I WANT IT NOW. It's been 3 days now and it's still pending after my $15 has posted. Soooo WTF?

Fried chicken

After hearing a popular radio talk show host touting Tom Thumb' fried chicken being the best , including any restaurant in DFW metroplex, we made a quick trip to get some for lunch. It was better than ANY we had bought in years.

We enjoyed this wonderful treat about every two weeks for a couple of years. Something changed. We asked the salesperson had they changed the recipe, the oil, the seasonings or the coating. His reply was no.

We tried it 3 more times off and on but have given up on hoping somehow that special fried chicken would make it back.

What happened? timeline for us was 2013 -15 (very good)After that????????

Tom Thumb chicken was the best but the last two times I bought it the Fried chicken was dry and hard. Almost choked me to death. They better check their cook.

New pharmacy staff - I will no longer shop Tom Thumb

I don't know what happened to the previous pharmacy staff that was wonderful. Usually when I drop off a prescription, the staff checks to see if they have it in stock and tell me when it will be ready. Today around noon, I dropped off a prescription that I have gotten filled every month with no problems. I was told it would be ready in an hour. I came back in an hour and was told it wasn't ready yet. I told them that was okay and that I would come back after five. On my home, I got a call from the pharmacist who told me they did not have it in stock and couldn't order it and I should try somewhere else like CVS or Walgreen's. After I told him I had not had problems getting this same prescription filled at this store every month for the past year or so, he said he would try to order it and see what happens. But, since it was Friday it would be Monday or Tuesday before I would know if he could even get it. I asked if they could check to see if another Tom Thumb had it in stock and was told he would order it and check back Monday after five. I said okay but it made me feel more like they were doing me a favor and not like a valued customer. Next time I will take my prescriptions and do my grocery shopping somewhere other than Tom Thumb.
